LowFlow Valves

For more than four decades, The Del Rio Company has been supplying top-quality industrial instrumentation to the chemical, petrochemical, water resources, oil & gas, refining, and power markets.

Over that time, we have come to know suppliers that stick to quality and provide long-term savings to our customers. One of those brands is LowFlow Valve, operating under Premier Industries, who manufactures an outstanding range of control valves and pressure regulators.

Overview of LowFlow

LowFlow valves can be used in many different industries, but are primarily used to control pressure or flow in very tight tolerances and extreme circumstances, such as:

  • Micro Flow Applications
  • Aggressive Chemicals
  • Extreme Pressure or Temperatures
  • Hazardous Gases

Depending on the application, LowFlow can utilize a variety of alloys and plastics to create a tailored solution for your operation. The Del Rio Company has a great relationship with LowFlow and can work with you to provide the best solution for the job at hand.

What Constitutes a LowFlow Valve Application?

When searching for control valves, it’s hard to pinpoint where to go and what you need. You should consider using LowFlow control valves under the following circumstances:

  • Applications that range from vacuum pressures to extremely high pressures, low flow Cvs of 0.00001 up to a high flow of 17 Cv, cryogenic temperatures (-425°F/-253°C) up to temperatures in excess of 1000°F (538°C) with valve sizes from ¼” to 2”.

As you can see, there are many different industries and applications that can fit that criteria. It’s difficult to capture them all, but here are just a few examples of where LowFlow valves have been used.

  • Pilot Plants
  • Chemical Injection/Dosing
  • Laboratories
  • Cryogenic Services
  • Corrosive Services
  • Acid Control
  • Thermal Oxidizers
  • Helium Gas Control
  • Laser Welding Systems
  • Metal Refining
  • Aerospace
  • HVAC
  • Hydraulics

Testimonials from LowFlow Users

“We made a change to a lower priced control valve around 3 years ago. After seeing how much time and money we were spending on repairs we switched back to the LowFlow MK708. It provided much more value for our investment, saving us money in the long run.”

“The flexibility of the Mark 708 control valve allows me to meet a wide variety of process conditions in my pilot plant. The ability to change cv’s within a single valve allows me to control costs and minimize overall valve inventory.”
